The promos of Dabangg are doing rounds on the smaller screen and must say they are creating stirs. Set in Uttar Pradesh, Dabangg is the story of a corrupt police officer Chulbul Pandey, played by Salman Khan.

Making debut with the film is Sonakshi Sinha, the daughter of veteran actor and politician Sharughan Sinha. It was Salman who convinced her parents to let her act in Bollywood.

The movie has been produced by Salman Khan’s younger brother Arbaaz Khan and directed by Anurag Kashyap’s younger brother Abhinav Kashyap.

Here is what Sonakshi tweeted regarding the feedbacks she is getting on her performance, ‘Spoke to 1 of my fav actresses – the awesome Rani Mukherji last nite. said she loved the Dabangg trailer and me in it! on top of the world!’
